Hayley’s room	The camera is facing Hayley’s desk It pans across to her bed We see Hayley sitting on her bed	We hear Hayley typing on her laptop
Hayley’s room	The camera is in front of Hayley , she puts her laptop away and looks over to the desk The camera is to the right side of the bed and watches her walk to the desk	There is some ambient sound from the window and we here Hayley walking
Hayley’s room	Hayley picks up her purse which is lying on the desk and stares at it for a moment She takes out a bag of cocaine, and opens it while sitting down by her desk	We hear her movements and some ambient sound
Hayley’s room	Hayley quickly gets up takes her purse puts the bag in it grabs her coat and leaves	We and Hayley hear a car pull up and beep its horn, there is the sound of hayley rushing around
Outside Hayley’s Room	We follow Hayley go downstairs towards the front door. She stops by the mirror and puts her coat on Her father comes in with a bag of food in his hand and she steps back with her purse behind her, they talk for a bit and then she leaves	There is the sound of Hayley rushing around Her Dad says :hey Hayley: oh hi Dad: how was school Hayley good, I’m just off out actually Dad: what? were to? Hayley: to the library with jazmin Dad: What time will you be back? Hayley: I dunno Dad: what about the food Hayley: I ill heat it up when I get back               Bye
Outside Hayley’s house	Hayley sighs and walks off, it fades to black	The ambient sound of cars outside.

Hayley’s room	An open bag of cocaine drop onto a desk in slow motion. Right as it hits the desk it cuts to black. Right as it hits the surface the screen hard cuts to black.	Silence until synthesised sound.
Hayley’s room	There is a close up of Hayley’s hand turning on her stereo and turning it up A few shots of items around the room like school supplies and lyrics on the walls.	We here lively dance music start up and get louder The music continues and we here Hayley moving around (to her desk)
Hayley’s room	Next we see Hayley leaning over the desk. Hayley freezes for a moment and then seals the bag up and throws into her school rucksack at the side of her seat.	The music gets quitter. We can hear a door open and a person ( and equipment ) enter the front door There is a gasp from Hayley and then the sound of her sudden movements when she is sorting her bag
Downstairs of Hayley’s house	Hayley’s father is turned to the door about to shut it having just came in and is holding a bag of food. Hayley comes down the stairs by the door with a couple extra items of clothing and stops to have a friendly talk for a brief moment. Hayley smiles and leaves the house and as the door shuts the father goes upstairs	The noise of him moving around The father says: ‘Hayley, I’m home’ Hayley says: ‘I know’ in a laughable way (we here her footsteps) Father: ‘how’s your work going?’ Hayley: ‘oh I need to research more so I am going to the library with Natalie’ Father: ‘I just got us dinne…’ Hayley: ‘...I’m late sorry I will heat it up later’ (we hear the door shut) Father: ‘okay’ in a playful way… (says to himself) “I guess I will turn the music of then” and laughs
Outside (her house and on her walk)	Hayley is standing still by the front door; she takes a deep worried breath in and then smiles and starts to walk away from her house. On her walk she removes her scarf, then her jacket and then takes out her hair band and roughs her hair up a bit reinventing her look, we see her put her jacket and such into her school rucksack. Along the walk a few credits and titles appear as text.	We hear a deep breath and then footsteps; also we know here ambient sound from the outside like cars and the wind etc. Ambient sound from her location and then the noise of her clothes being taken off and put in her bag, the song she was playing in her room earlier can be heard while we follow her.
The Park	Hayley arrives at an entrance to a park were Natalie is waiting and Hayley hugs her and is greeted by Natalie and then look over to a larger group of boys at a bench in the park while talking, then proceed to walk over to them.	The song is now gone and they have a quick conversation… Natalie: “hey” Hayley: “Hi Natalie” Natalie (quietly and a bit exited) “Did you bring the.. well you know” Hayley: “yes, I did” Natalie: “Cool!” (in a overexcited tone, which makes her look very nerdy) Hayley “Yeah ha-ha”

Final synopsis

The film opens with a bag of cocaine dropped onto a desk, not much is shown but the desk so u can tell little about the room, then we see Hayley leaning over her desk were the cocaine lies. There’s the noise of someone opening the door and the girl freezes for just a second and then slides everything back into the bad and quickly stashes it in her school bag which is rested on the left of her chair. Were next shown her father at the door just getting back from work putting his stuff down. Just as he is about to shut the door Hayley comes down the stairs with some books in her hand and her school bag on her back and says she is about to leave, he says where are you going, she replies ‘oh... erm just gonna do some work with Natalie’ he smiles and asks what she wants for dinner she tells him and leaves. Along the way she puts the books back into her bag, roughs up her hair a bit and puts the jacket she was wearing in her bag as well , she meets Natalie along her walk, they eventually arrive at the park and walk up to their group of mates . The last shot is off the camera following behind her focused on the bag the put emphasis on the cocaine

Character backgrounds

Hayley (main): Hayley has always been the typical smart hardworking girl and her parents are very proud of it. Her parents broke up when she was about 12, she doesn’t get to see much of her mother and now lives with her father, the divorce affected her a lot and since the separation she has changed a lot and has gotten into drugs mainly cocaine, she has become very popular and has a new very rough group of friends but still hides this from her dad to keep up her good girl image by living two lives. She has two best friends Natalie and Bethany (Beth).

Natalie: Natalie has been with Hayley from a young age and is the closest person to her. She is very nerdy and unlike Hayley isn’t accepted by her new group and isn’t at all popular. But she hangs out with Hayley all the time and Hayley always is kind to her, although she is  reckless with her she does it to show Natalie a good time as she don’t have many friends. Due to this Natalie also does drugs with her and thinks nothing of it.

Beth: Beth was great friends with Hayley and Natalie throughout most of their childhood but since they both have gotten into drugs she had a huge argument with Hayley and they no longer talk, she does still see Natalie at school and often talks about Hayley.

Chris: Chris is part of Hayley’s new group of mates and often deals to the whole group, him and Natalie have a strained relationship that Hayley doesn’t know about. There relationship is based purely her drug addiction which he takes advantage off.

Her dad: he doesn’t have much since his wife left him, his main passion in life is Hayley and tries to give her the best of everything like clothes and education because of this he has to work a lot at minimum wage doing manual labour and yet is still in serious debt and is depressed. Hayley hides her new life from him as she thinks that if he was to find out it would push him over the edge.

Summary of film

The film is about the life of a girl called Hayley and her involvement with drugs. It will focus on the problem of addiction and how it affects her relationships with both family and friends. She got into cocaine a short time after her parents broke up, she lives with her dad but hides the fact she does cocaine as all her life she has been the typical shy smart girl and he is very proud of her. In the film she hides doing drugs and her friends from her dad and tries to live two life’s, later on in the film Hayley and her best friend Natalie with their new group of mates hang out and take drugs, after the group left Hayley and Natalie keep on doing drugs and Natalie is seriously injured under the influence of it and ends up in the hospital. Hayley hides what really happened but feeling terrible and responsible for what did happened slowly tries to break away from her group of friends and under the stress of it all her two life’s bleed together and start to affect her school work. Chris who is in a strained relationship with Natalie upsets Hayley blaming her for what has happened and no longer feeds her addiction for drugs. Becoming more stressed and worried about controlling her addiction she confides in Beth explaining what has happened and what she is going through. Beth freaks and tells the police what really happened. On the way home Hayley see’s the police talking to her dad at the door, scared about her dads reaction she runs away not sure where to go ends up at a bridge she walks across for school, overwhelmed by everything wrong in her life and not able to think of one person left to confide in she climbs the ledge, and jumps. The film is going to be calles White lie as white represents the cocaine, lie is based on how she hide her double life from her dad, and the phrase white lie represents her attitude throughout the film were she thinks of the addiction as nothing and it slowly destroys her life.
